This is a crochet hand woven Cuenca hat! Still a genuine panama hat but with a big difference in the way it was stitched together. Made of the same type of straw of the famous "Panama hats" (Paja Toquilla). These hats are woven with different coloration's of dyed straw that gives the hat a nice and colorful touch. Very durable straw very resistant to rolling or crushing for the kind of crochet stitch pattern this hat uses 4 times more straw then any other panama hat! They can be worn with or without any exterior hat band. Great quality and durability and they are ideal for wearing at the beach or any outdoor activities. Extreme crush-able! Durable hat! Cuenca Grade 6 - this can be compared to a Montecristi Fino to Super Fino grade of weave. So this is a nice weave!

This Panama hat is blocked in a long oval, which is often a better fit for customers who need a little more room front to back. If you prefer, this model can also be requested in other oval shapes, including standard oval or X-long oval, depending on your fit needs.

This Panama hat is the classic fedora style, also known as a center dent crown because of the dent that runs down the center of the crown. It is one of the most timeless and recognizable hat shapes, offering a balanced look that works well for both dress and casual wear.

The classic fedora is blocked on a semi long oval hat block rather than a perfectly round one to fit the average person better.

Snap brim on the front causing the brim to tip downward slightly and upward in the back just a little.

Almost a Stingy Brim: Just a little smaller than our standard brim, this size still offers some shade protection while keeping a shorter, sharper look. It is often chosen more for style than for sun coverage. Some people simply look especially good in a shorter brim.

2. Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your head being sure the tape falls above your ears and the ridge of your eyebrows.
